FIRST ANNUAL DAYTON MUSLIM WOMEN CONFERENCE

Islamic Society of Greater Dayton (ISGD) will be hosting an annual Muslim women conference to discuss issues related to women and families such as health, family, socio-political, religious and cultural topics. The conference is co-sponsored by UD departments of religious studies and gender and women studies. The theme this year is

"MUSLIM WOMEN, A VOICE FOR PEACE"

Michigan State representative Rashida Tlaib will be the keynote speaker for the conference. She will talk about "My life story, from a Muslim Girl in Public School to Michigan State House"
